With a privileged location, next to several Faculties, the Residence Edificio 1 - Praça Universitária, is located in the University City of ULisboa close to Entrecampos, a few minutes' walk from the metro stations of Cidade Universitária and Entrecampos.
In this area of the city you can find the Campo Grande garden and the University Stadium where various sports are practiced. There are also gyms, swimming pools, restaurants and cafes, which facilitate the day-to-day management of students. The Residence, of mixed occupancy, has the capacity to accommodate 335 students, offering double rooms, single rooms and apartments. It also provides excellent study spaces and interaction between residents.
The rules and conditions of access relating to accommodation are set out in the Rules of Procedure. If you wish to apply for accommodation, you must be aware of it.
In the area you can find some catering spaces in addition to the Cantina dos Serviços de Ação Social, such as the restaurant 'Os 100 Montaditos', Burger King, Mc Donald’s and others.
You can also find the National Library, the Jockey Club, the Swimming Pool Complex, the Fitness Academy, the Horto do Campo Grande, as well as the Hospital de Santa Maria.
