Child Support Unit

Child support service to the academic community, which promotes the well-being and psychomotor and intellectual development of each child, in a permanent articulation between the

institution and family.

Activities

In addition to the pedagogical activities planned and developed daily, the Technical team of the child support area promotes, in articulation with the parents, celebration of festive dates, partnerships with the educational community, tours and study visits.

The following curriculum enrichment activities are also available:

• Musical Expression and Sensitization - Responsible activity of a competent teacher, developed once a week in the classrooms of two, three, four and five years;
• Physical and Sports Activity - Activity of the responsibility of a competent teacher, developed once a week in the classrooms of three, four and five years;
• English Language Initiation - Responsible activity of a competent teacher, developed once a week in the three, four and five year classrooms;

Spaces

The interior space is divided into two large areas: the children's area and the laundry area. The children's area consists of five activity rooms (two of kindergarten and three of kindergarten), a multipurpose room and toilets. The activity rooms have natural light and ventilation.

In addition to the specific equipment of each room, there are also materials for common use, such as: kitchen equipment, pallets, television, dvd player and movies, slide projector, stereo system, motor expression material (bows, balls, beacons, etc.), musical instruments, wear materials (various papers and cardboards, glues, etc.), science materials (eggs, nests, shells, fossils, etc.).

The service area consists of a kitchen, a pantry, a laundry room, a cloakroom, a toilet for adults, a toilet for dumps and an office. Outside there is a space for outdoor and recreational activities and a car park. The playground has equipment for physical activities, sand tank, toys and various games in addition to water fountain and toilet.
