Project “Success and Dropout Reduction Program in Higher Education”

About the Project

The University of Lisbon (ULisboa) is implementing a Project within the scope of the Success and Dropout Reduction in Higher Education Program external link icon, financed by DGES. The project will implement a set of activities that will have a direct impact on reducing dropout rates, especially in the case of students who are in the first year of their study cycles.
The ULisboa program includes several working groups, in which the 18 ULisboa Schools are represented, as well as the Rectory and Social Action Services (SASULisboa). The working Groups will work on the following activities:

  • A.1 Mentoring and tutoring systems;
  • A.2 Support for the integration of students in Higher Education;
  • A.3 Team of integration facilitators in University Residences;
  • A.4 Support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN);
  • A.5 Support for students from Portuguese-speaking African Countries (PALOP);
  • A.6 Creation of online study and collaborative work spaces.

The teams include representatives from the 18 ULisboa Schools, as well as the Rectory and Social Action Services (SASULisboa).
The SASULisboa are part of the Working Group “Team of integration facilitators in University Residences”.
