The Student Ombudsman is an independent body of the University of Lisbon (ULisboa) whose function is to defend and promote the rights and interests of students within the scope of the University.
The Ombudsman is responsible for assessing students' complaints about pedagogical matters and related administrative matters, as well as about other aspects of their academic life, directing to the competent bodies of the University, the recommendations that he considers appropriate for the prevention and repair of the situations observed. The activities of the Student Ombudsman of Universidade de Lisboa are developed in conjunction with the Schools' pedagogical councils, Social Action Services and student associations.
